Library Cards

Pierceton Public Library serves Washington and Monroe townships in Indiana. If you live in either township, you qualify for a free library card. You must come into the library to get your card; there is no online service for this. It is mandatory that you bring a form of ID confirming residence in qualifying townships for a free resident card. If you’re unsure whether or not your address qualifies, you can check the Evergreen Indiana Map by typing your address into the box in the top right corner. Resident cards (green Evergreen Indiana cards) expire two years from the issued date, and must be renewed.

For those outside of Washington and Monroe townships, Pierceton Public Library offers nonresident cards for an annual fee of $35. Nonresident cards can be purchased in person with cash or check only. These cardholders have access to everything a resident would have, such as the ability to check out library materials, use Evergreen Indiana resources, and create a hoopla account. Nonresident cards (also green Evergreen Indiana cards) expire one year from the issued date.

Students and teachers from Pierceton Elementary School are eligible for a free limited access blue Evergreen Indiana card that allows usage of Pierceton Public Library only.

Temporary residents are eligible for a free limited access blue Evergreen Indiana card that allows usage of Pierceton Public Library only. These cards expire after three months.
